Local processing & privacy
VineFileLab is designed around client-side processing. Your browser reads the file you explicitly select, processes it locally and creates the result on your device. Internet access may still be used to load the page and its browser libraries, but the selected file does not need to be uploaded to our conversion server.

Is my file uploaded to a server?
No. File Comparison is designed to run in your browser using local JavaScript — the selected file's contents are read by your device for processing.
Can I process more than one file at once?
Yes — select up to 2 files. Each is processed on its own, with a "download all as ZIP" option once they're all finished.
Is there a file size limit?
The practical limit is your device's available memory rather than a limit we impose — very large files may be slower on older devices.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Every tool on this site works without signing up.
