If you’re caught in the rain, keep moving to generate body heat and avoid health complications. Change into dry clothes immediately to prevent prolonged exposure to cold and moisture. Be sure to dry your hair as well—leaving it wet can cause sinus issues or headaches. Taking a warm shower helps restore body temperature and washes away any impurities from rainwater. Once dry, wear warm clothing and sip on a hot beverage like ginger or honey tea to stimulate immunity and soothe the throat.
